This notice explains how CloudCover (Neil & Rachel Bunker, Chester, UK) handles your personal information. We keep it simple because what we do with your data is simple.

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form we collect your first name, last name, email address and message. When you use the song request page at a gig we collect the song, the artist and, only if you choose to give them, your name and a comment. That’s it, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking.

Why we collect it

Enquiries: solely to reply and, if you book us, to arrange your event. Song requests: to play your song on the night and to build our set lists. This is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

Who processes it

This website is hosted by Vercel, Inc. and our forms reach us by email through Resend, Inc. Tips are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see your card or Apple Pay details. We don’t share your details with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for up to two years after our last contact with you, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email cloudcoverduo@outlook.com and we’ll sort it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
